Who Should Join?

This group is specifically for women identified folks (18+) living in Ohio or Kentucky who are curious about their sexual selves—whether that means working through low desire, unlearning sexual shame, or simply wanting to feel more connected to their bodies and pleasure.

It’s a great fit for those who want to:

  • Explore why desire might feel low or inconsistent

  • Learn how stress, culture, and context influence arousal

  • Build sexual self-awareness in a supportive environment

  • Feel less alone in their experiences with sexuality

What Should I Expect?

Participants will join a supportive group of women. Sessions will include:

  • Guided discussions based on Come As You Are

  • Opportunities to reflect and connect with others around shared experiences

  • Gentle exercises to build awareness of desire, pleasure, and sexual self-concept

  • Weekly practices to deepen insights between sessions

Topics may include:

  • Understanding responsive vs. spontaneous desire

  • How stress and context impact arousal

  • Exploring sexual accelerators and brakes

  • Navigating cultural and relational messages about sex

  • Building a more compassionate relationship with your body and pleasure

Why This Group?

Many women struggle with low desire, sexual shame, or confusion about what turns them on—but often feel alone in those experiences. This group offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore those questions in community. With guidance from Sara and Madison, therapy interns receiving supervision from experienced sex therapists, participants will use Come As You Are to gain a deeper understanding of their sexuality, learn to quiet self-doubt, and feel more empowered in their relationship with pleasure.
