DR. EMILY LACY

II’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) in Ohio and an LPCC in Kentucky, with experience working with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, and specialized populations including military/first responders and LGBTQIA+ clients.

Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed the many barriers and stigmas people face when seeking mental health care. My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood—where therapy feels relatable, not clinical or out of reach.

I’m especially passionate about providing education and support around sex, intimacy, and relationships—topics that are often neglected or surrounded by fear, shame, or misinformation. Many of us grew up with little to no accurate information about our bodies, sexuality, or emotional connection. I want to offer a space where you can safely explore what these things mean for you now, and how they can support your sense of safety, pleasure, and connection.

I hold an Ed.D. in Community Care and Counseling with a specialization in Traumatology, and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) in Ohio, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky, and a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) in Utah. I’m also EMDR Certified, a Consultant-in-Training through EMDRIA, and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist..
