Consultation & Supervision Services
individual consultation for EMDR basic training or certification is a one-on-one session between a therapist and an EMDR-certified consultant or consultant-in-training. The purpose of this consultation is to provide the consultee with guidance, feedback, and support as they work towards their EMDR basic training completion or certification. These sessions are essential for ensuring that the consultee is developing the necessary skills and adhering to EMDR protocols effectively.

Clinical Supervision
I offer clinical supervision in Ohio for counselors working toward independent licensure. Supervision is a collaborative and supportive process that blends mentorship, case consultation, and professional development. My areas of specialization include trauma, EMDR, sex therapy, and relational work, and I bring an integrative, trauma-informed lens to every supervision relationship. Whether you're working toward your LPCC or seeking a safe space to reflect on clinical work, supervision focuses on ethical decision-making, cultural responsiveness, skill development, and confidence building. My goal is to help you grow as a clinician while fostering your unique voice and values in the field.

Group consultation includes at least two consultees in a formalized setting which is led by a consultant in a structured group format. All consultees in the group are expected to participate and be prepared to bring their own EMDR case presentation material content for discussion.
Group consultation consists of two or more consultees meeting together in a structured atmosphere. This group is facilitated by an EMDRIA Approved Consultant or Consultant-In-Training. Each participant will bring their own case material and questions to discuss every meeting.

Emily’s Special Interests
As an EMDR Consultant
My special interests as an EMDR Consultant center on helping clinicians integrate trauma-informed approaches that truly honor the mind-body connection. I’m especially passionate about tailoring EMDR for clients navigating sexual concerns, religious trauma, and complex relational dynamics. I enjoy supporting therapists in deepening their clinical creativity—whether that’s adapting protocols for clients with chronic pain, weaving in attachment and somatic frameworks, or building confidence in handling blocked processing. My goal is to equip clinicians with the tools and trust in themselves to feel steady, attuned, and effective in their EMDR work.
As a Clinical Supervisor
In my role as a clinical supervisor, I’m deeply invested in helping developing therapists find their voice and therapeutic style while staying grounded in ethics, compassion, and curiosity. I have a special interest in supporting clinicians who want to integrate sex therapy, trauma-informed care, and relational approaches into their practice. I value creating a collaborative supervision space where vulnerability, reflection, and growth are encouraged—not just technical skill-building. My focus is on fostering confident, self-aware clinicians who can balance clinical excellence with genuine humanity in the therapy room.
